Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Ms. Angel Rather is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with credentialing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has been in the healthcare field since 2013, where she has honed her skills for mental health care.
Ms. Rather began her nursing career by obtaining her Associate of Science in Nursing from Bryant and Stratton College in 2013. She continued her nursing studies and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Governors University in 2018. While working as a Registered Nurse, she pursued her PMHNP-BC to fulfill her desire to help individuals in their mental health journeys. She obtained her Master of Science in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2021.
Ms. Rather believes in a holistic, patient-centered approach to meet client’s needs. She has been honored to serve military personnel and adult and adolescent populations in diverse settings. She meets her clients with validation, empathy, trust, and support. She personalizes an evidence-based plan using the most current research to assist clients in achieving a medication regimen that lends to their overall wellness and meeting their mental health goals.
