Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Ms. Fatima Muna Koroma is a board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has been working in the field of nursing since 2013, and she has been working with patients for the past 6 years for their various mental health care needs.
Ms. Koroma completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in 2016. From there, she went on to obtain her Master of Science degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Wilkes University Passan School of Nursing in 2020.
Her practicum placements have provided her with experiences across the lifespan and a variety of mental health disorders.

Ms. Koroma approaches treatment by viewing each client as a unique individual and not merely their diagnosis. This approach lets her provide a holistic approach rooted in client-centered, evidenced-based practices. This allows her to support the mental health of her clients and develop a trusting, collaborative relationship to meet her clients’ needs. She tailors treatment to the individualized and dynamic needs to improve emotional wellness.
While she has experiences with patients across the lifespan, Ms. Koroma works with adults ages18-65. She treats all general psychiatric issues, with a clinical focus on Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Insomnia, PTSD, Bipolar, OCD, and other general psychiatric disorders. Her areas of interest include working with people in the LGBTQIA+ community. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services.
