Madison Mann, M.S.
Resident
Ms. Mann earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2023 and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2026 from West Virginia University. As an undergraduate, she minored in Child Development and Family Studies and Addiction Studies and participated in research focused on child and adolescent development. During her graduate training, she expanded her knowledge through professional development in play therapy, childhood and adolescent concerns, and the impact of trauma.
Ms. Mann has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in school and counseling settings. In schools, she focused on building positive relationships with students and collaborating with parents and caregivers to support their success. During her internship at a nonprofit clinic, she worked with adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, trauma, addiction, anxiety, and depression.

Ms. Mann provides developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care using a humanistic, strengths-based approach. She believes people thrive when they feel accepted in their relationships, environments, and within themselves. By meeting clients where they are, recognizing their strengths and resilience, and honoring them as the experts in their own lives, she empowers clients to move toward their personal goals.
When working with children and adolescents, Ms. Mann incorporates play therapy techniques and a child-centered approach. By following each client’s lead, she creates space for self-exploration and growth while fostering self-awareness, confidence, personal responsibility, and resilience.
Ms. Mann’s goal is to create a safe, accepting space where children, adolescents, and adults feel empowered to grow and pursue meaningful goals. She helps clients identify what matters most to them and work toward lives that reflect their values and authentic selves. Ms. Mann believes that while much in life may be outside our control, we can still create meaningful change and live in ways that feel true to who we are.
